Dr Punjabi is a knowledgeable, concerned, personable physician. He accurately diagnosed my heart issue and gave me several options for treatment; including medication and ablation. He explained the benefits and risks of each option. I am impressed with his depth of knowledge and demeanor. He reviewed my information prior to my appointment and spent the time to thoroughly discuss my condition, medications and his recommendations. He is a well-trained, excellent physician.

Dr. Punjabi is the best cardiologists on Maui. He is caring and compassionate and is not interested in getting you out of the office quickly. He takes the time to listen and provides helpful advice and information as the appointment progresses. I highly recommend him.

I have been alongside an elderly friend of mine who has seen Dr. Punjabi for heart disease for a few years now. Dr. Punjabi is one of the BEST doctors I've known! He is very detailed, thorough, and comprehensive! He has not just focused on my friend's heart issues, but her entire health, as one issue links to another one. He has gone above and beyond to research options and treatments for her regarding other health issues she has! He assesses all aspects of her daily living and makes suggestions on things that can improve her life. He's realistic and doesn't sugar coat what needs to be addressed, but he does so in an encouraging and optimistic way. He gives my elderly friend a chance to answer his questions and speak her mind without interrupting her and I feel like he truly listens. He is highly intelligent in figuring out the cause and effects of the many multiple health issues my friend has and he's efficient in following through with what he discusses for her plan of care. Thanks Dr. Punjabi for doing all you have done for Elinor and for being an amazing medical provider! Wish we had more providers like you on Maui!

Dr. Punjabi is the best cardiologist on the island. He did a thorough work up on me including labs and diagnostics. He did not sugar coat anything which I really appreciated because my lab results really needed to be addressed. In the past, I’ve had another cardiologist do absolutely nothing and just told me to change my diet.
Dr. Punjabi will actually go beyond just telling me to “change my diet”. He personally looked up programs on the island that not only helped me make lifestyle changes but that were also covered by my insurance (he personally looked it up himself right there during my appointment which I’ve never seen done with any other doctor) and really listened to my struggles and took the time to work out a realistic game plan to help me be healthier.

I have been seeing Dr. Punjabi for at least 5 years now. He literally saved my life. He's always very attentive, listens to my needs and goes over and beyond the duties of his specialty. I'm so thankful to have a physician provide care in the way he does.
